Herbal Formula for good health

Digestion is the process by which food and drink are converted into simpler molecules so that the body can use them to build and nourish cells and to provide energy. Digestion is important because without proper digestion we cannot assimilate the nutrients we receive from the food  that we eat. Digestion is important because without it we cannot receive our nourishment for overall well-being. Digestion is important for breaking down food into nutrients, which the body uses for energy, growth, and cell repair.
Enzymes play a vital role in proper digestion of food. Enzymes are proteins. Enzymes break down the food we eat. That means enzymes break down proteins, cellulose, starches and other foodstuffs. This makes it possible for the intestines to absorb nutrients.  They serve as catalyst in the process of digestion. Enzymes are one of the key ingredients for a healthy digestive system.
Enzyme disorder results in improper digestion. Improper digestion leads to the following symptoms. They are: bloating of the stomach, gas, constipation, diarrhoea, fatigue, IBS, Colitis, GERD, Hypoglycemia, High cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, weight gain or loss, circulatory and excretory problems, etc…. therefore, the key to good health is proper digestion.
Nowadays, we are not able to stick to a proper diet plan every day due to work, studies, etc. Even children suffer from some or other form of digestive disorder.  Environment also plays a vital role in proper digestion. Oxygen is very important for complete digestion of food. There is deficiency of oxygen in the atmosphere.
We have to encounter air and water pollution in addition to improper enzymatic activity during digestion of food in our stomach. Here is a herbal formula for good health. It is prepared from what is available in the kitchen.
Ingredients:
Jeera or cumin seeds   2  measures
Ajwain or carom seeds 2 measures

Use it as a curry powder for flavouring vegetables. Use it as flavouring agent for vegetable soups. When there is a stomach discomfort, put one teaspoon of the powder in hot water mix it well and drink. The stomach begins to ease and the pain vanishes.
