Valuable lessons from the life of Birds- (Part-II)

Birds never give up even if we chase them away. They return to the same spot and try to get what they want. That means they try and become successful by perseverance. We should learn that we should never give up our hopes even if it is a losing game for us. We should try hard to achieve success. We should not give up our hopes even if people around us are discouraging us. Thus we learn the quality of perseverance from Birds.

Birds migrate in groups to different regions in search of favorable climate and

food. From this it is clear that we should go in search of favorable places and

suitable  jobs.

We should learn to be a friendly member  of the group and keep our friends and family members close  to us when we travel so that we get help when we require.

Quiet often we see birds singing, pecking, mating and dancing for their pleasure. But birds do not care who is watching them. They continue their activities without bothering about our watching them. We learn that we should not worry about what people are commenting, talking, thinking about what we are doing. We should continue to do our work if we feel that we are right.

Birds lead a family life. They build nests for their young ones. Their nests are made using twigs, dried leaves, threads and sticks. All these materials are locally available. From this we learn that we should build a home for our near ones and dear ones. We should make use of locally available ordinary materials found in that region to build our homes.

Like human beings, birds tend their young ones by bringing food and feeding them in their nests. Birds teach their young ones to fly from the nest as soon as they develop their wings. From this we learn that we should not keep our kids tied to our homes once they are old enough to lead a life of their own. We should allow them to venture outside the house in search opportunities to establish themselves independently. Birds teach the human beings how to detach from the kids. Detachment from dear and near ones is the essence of human lives.

Thus we learn these vital lessons of life from the life of birds. So, “Be like a Bird, Eat like a Bird Live like a Bird and Feel as free as a Bird….”
